fun in the sun

The weather was suprisingly pretty today, we had a playdate planned with my dear friend Ashley & her two girls. It was nice to get out, and the kids had a blast. They have water spouts, and that's where they stayed the whole time. Hey, if I was a kid playing in the hot sun I would too :)
I think I got some good shots of them. At one point a pretty rainbow came out right over the spouts where they was playing, it was really cool.

On another note, this is kind of...well, is such a God thing. I had posted alittle yesterday, and some of you know that Mark runs his own roofing company & his work has been rolling in terribly slow. Well, not rolling in at all. LOL
Today something really great happened. Well, let me say this too. We have been praying and believing that he will somehow find work, or something...or somehow, something will find him...and it did. Just this past Sunday night, one of our Pastors' prayed with Mark about this and God really has heard all of our prayers!
Anyway, the story. Mark stops by the bay to fish alittle each morning. This morning while he was fishing, a older man pulls up. He walks up to Mark, talks a bit about fishing and chit chats alittle. And then he goes on too ask, what kind of work he does. He tells him roofing, and goes on to tell him he's slow and something needs to give. This man just happens to own his own roofing company also. Wow. And has been working some guys from a different town. Mark goes on too tell him that before going out on his own, he had worked for his uncle for 12yrs doing this..and as it turns out, this man had done business with Mark's uncle (who has now retired)! He knew that Mark's uncles' company had done good work. And from now on is going to give him all of his available jobs! So he now has a few lined up, and says that they can keep busy together. In fact, Mark is doing the 1st one tomorrow. No joke.
Did God not send this man right there at that bay right at the perfect time??? As soon as you start to doubt the Lord, he reveals hisself. We know God sent him there to Mark this morning. What a great Father we have. And all I can think to say is just wow.

On top of this, hurricane Faye has completely turned and is now coming our way. I'm sure she will not get too big though, going across all of the panhandle. We will be getting lots of high winds & thunderstorms. I'll update about it as she comes closer.

Matthew 21:22 "And all things, whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, you will recieve"

What can I say to that other than wow! That's so awesome that Mark stumbled across that man- or really that he stumbled across Mark. =) I love how you were able to get a shot of the rainbow! I will be watching the weather and we'll all be praying that Faye falls apart before getting to you guys.

I believe that with God there is no such thing as a coincidence! God put Mark and that man in the same spot at the same time because it was His plan! Very cool story Shauna! I'm so happy for you guys that Mark has some work :) God is so good!

I will pray that Faye falls apart before she gets to you.

Great pictures of the boys!
